Introduction
This Privacy Policy applies to Yublo, bundle identifier com.sumitsarkar.Yublo, developed by Sumit Sarkar. Yublo is designed to work without accounts, servers, ads, analytics, or tracking.
The short version: Yublo does not collect anything about you. There is no Yublo server database, no user profile, and no third-party tracking in the app.
What Yublo collects
Yublo collects no user data.
Yublo does not collect, request, store, or transmit:
- Your name, email address, phone number, or account details
- Your location, contacts, calendar, photos, microphone, camera, or files
- Device identifiers, advertising identifiers, or tracking identifiers
- Analytics events, telemetry, usage history, or session recordings
- Crash logs, diagnostics, performance logs, or behavioral data
- Children's personal information or classroom roster information
What's stored on your device
Yublo may store a few app settings locally on your iPhone or iPad using Apple's UserDefaults system. This can include your selected mode, selected theme, onboarding completion state, and whether Pro features are unlocked.
This local state is used only to make the app remember your preferences. It is not sent to Yublo, uploaded to a server, used for analytics, or shared with anyone by Yublo.
Third-party services
Yublo does not include advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, social SDKs, telemetry tools, crash-reporting SDKs, or third-party libraries that phone home.
The app uses Apple's StoreKit framework for the optional $2.99 lifetime Pro in-app purchase. StoreKit transactions are processed by Apple and are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy, not by Yublo. Yublo does not receive your payment card details.
Data retention and deletion
Since Yublo does not collect personal data, Yublo has no personal data to retain, export, correct, or delete.
Local app preferences can be removed by deleting the app from your device. Apple may keep App Store purchase records and transaction history for your Apple Account. To manage or request deletion of Apple-held purchase records, contact Apple through your Apple Account or Apple Support.
Children's privacy
Yublo is family-safe and has an App Store age rating of 4+. It is not directed at children as a data-collection service, and it does not knowingly collect personal information from children or anyone else.
Because Yublo collects no personal data, it is designed to be COPPA-conscious by default. Parents, guardians, and teachers can use the app without creating accounts or entering children's information.
GDPR, CCPA, and privacy rights
Privacy laws such as the GDPR and CCPA may give you rights to access, delete, correct, or restrict the use of personal data. Yublo does not hold personal data about you, so there is no Yublo-held personal data to access, delete, correct, or restrict.
If your request concerns App Store purchase records, receipts, refunds, or Apple Account data, please contact Apple because Apple controls those records.
Changes to this policy
If Yublo's privacy practices change, this page will be updated with a new "Last updated" date. The latest version of this policy will always be available at this page.
